The Maple House Collective's original hand woven baskets in a lovely Nantucket Grey, hand crafted locally. Pamela Topping was born and raised in the heartland of Western Kansas and earned a degree in teaching and education. She learned the art of basket weaving from a very dear neighbor friend while living in Colorado. Her love of making baskets allowed her to elevate the art of basketmaking to give it her own signature style. Now living in the Pacific Northwest, she is a true artisan as an avid quilter of 19th century patterns and fabrics in addition to her passion for crafting old New England oak and ash splint baskets. We are honored to partner with Pamela in offering this exclusive line of high quality baskets which offer a sense of nostalgia and tradition to any home. These exquisite baskets can be for everyday use and are strong enough to be used in the garden or for storing blankets, wood, linens, pillows, and the list goes on. Place a large basket atop an adored cupboard as excess storage, or a smaller option for counter fruits and vegetables gathered from the market or garden.
